The good news is the JAILBREAK 1.1.3 Dev Team announced that hey have managed to jailbreak iPod touch 1.1.3. The bad news is they will not release it until sometime in February, after Apple released the SDK for iPod touch. This way Apple can’t get the upper hand on how jailbreaking 1.1.3 is done.

So… be patient. Afterall, a Jailbroken 1.1.2 (or even 1.1.1) iPod touch works just fine.

crispino13, no one really know if 1.1.3 can be jailbroken, much less 1.1.4. :P

If you follow the tutorials scattered around the blog, you can easily restore your iPod touch to factory original condition anytime. So go ahead and jailbreak it for fun. :)

Yes, by downgrading to version 1.1.1 first and, if you have iTunes 7.5, subsequently upgrade to 1.1.2, but never further upgrade to 1.1.3.
